Your mission

GEDU Global Education seeks a highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and ambitious Executive Manager to support the Regional Head, North America and the Executive Director, Study Abroad & Summer Programs.

This is not a traditional executive assistant role. It is a high-visibility leadership support position designed for an early-career professional who wants to accelerate their career and eventually progress into a Chief of Staff, Operations, Partnerships, or other leadership role within a global organization.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner to senior executives, managing complex projects, coordinating strategic initiatives, supporting executive decision-making, and helping drive operational excellence across a rapidly growing North American organization.

This role offers unparalleled exposure to executive leadership, international business, higher education, university partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and organizational growth initiatives.

Tasks and Responsabilities

Executive Leadership Support
  • Manage complex executive calendars spanning multiple time zones and international stakeholders.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, executive visits, conference attendance, and special events.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and correspondence.
  • Draft executive communications and professional business correspondence.
  • Track strategic priorities and ensure timely follow-up on executive action items.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Strategic Project Management
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives on behalf of North American leadership.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track deliverables and ensure accountability across multiple teams.
  • Assist in preparing executive dashboards, business updates, and strategic reports.
  • Support implementation of operational improvement initiatives.
Mergers & Acquisitions Support
  • Assist with confidential acquisition and partnership activities.
  • Coordinate diligence meetings and executive schedules.
  • Maintain secure and organized transaction documentation.
  • Support preparation of executive summaries, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Assist with integration planning and post-acquisition coordination activities.
Leadership Team Operations
  • Support leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and executive retreats.
  • Coordinate communications among North American and global leadership teams.
  • Facilitate preparation of board, executive, and leadership presentations.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and organizational initiatives.
Event & Relationship Management
  • Coordinate executive-level meetings involving university presidents, CEOs, government officials, board members, and strategic partners.
  • Assist in planning conferences, campus events, international delegations, and VIP visits.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support event logistics.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Administrative & Financial Support
  • Manage expense reporting, purchase requests, vendor coordination, and budget tracking.
  • Support contract administration and document management.
  • Maintain executive records and operational documentation.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Your Profile

Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three to seven years of professional experience in executive support, project coordination, operations, consulting, higher education, or related fields
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills, including:
    • PowerPoint
    • Excel
    • Outlook
    • Word
    • Teams
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in downtown Tampa
Preferred
  • Master's degree
  • Experience supporting senior executives, presidents, CEOs, or other C-suite leaders
  • Experience in higher education, consulting, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate headquarters environments
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish, French, German, Arabic, or other internationally relevant languages.
  • Experience coordinating international meetings and stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM, project management, and collaboration tools.
